Franck Evennou

Franck Evennou

Franck Evennou (b. 1958) can make bronze speak. His designs find expression in their varying patinas, from shimmering gold to viscous dark brown. A dreamlike, organic quality pervades his pieces, whether it be jewelry or furniture. Evennou brings his refined understanding of traditional French artisanship to all he creates, not distinguishing between the fine and applied arts. His designs are most often inspired by forms and silhouettes found in nature. His works are imprinted with traces of his process and their pasts, evoking a curious sense of nostalgia. Evennou has completed commissions for collectors worldwide, as well as exceptional site specific work, such as the monumental gate of the Embassy of France in Lebanon and a forest of bronze for the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature à Paris.

Bernd Goeckler Inc. is happy to represent Franck with select furniture, lighting and now also a jewelry line in NYC, featuring silvered and gilded bronze bracelets and brooches.
