Hand-blown clear glass with bronze mounts. The long shaft, comprised of numerous glass tubes, terminates in a bronze structure, issuing twelve upturned arms with large bobeches. Carlo Scarpa (1906-1978) was the artistic director of Venini during this period, and his modernist aesthetic is certainly embodied in the clean architectural lines of this fixture.
